When i first started to learn the blues/rock like Stevie ray i found my self making my fingers bleed under the nail trying to master a riff with a lot of bends.your fingers will get used to this new stress your putting on them,id say if your starting to see blood maybe you went a little to far and should think about taking some time off of being a rock star 8)...just for a little while
