    What do you think will be the best part of Face Off?

    And What tactics (if you can think of any) will you use to eleminate players and AI?

    Well, seeing as sonar is probably gonna be a part of it, i would definately try to stay behind my partner at all times. Not too close but i might from time to time run up and CqC him.

    Also: Split screen in face-off? I think my point is clear.
    It has come to my attention, that many people on this forum are making the same mistakes over and over.
    Asking the same questions, making the same assumptions and posing with the same issues as when ConViction was in development.

    We need to draw from our past experiences. Only then, can we evolve as a community to something greater and more beneficial. Both for ourselves and this franchise.

    I'd probably lurk in the shadows and wait for my opponent to make his/her move then keep track of him and wait for the perfect moment to strike.

    Same. I really REALLY hope that you can't see the other player with sonar, it would suck because you could never sneak up on them...

    Should work like motion detectors, no? If you stand still they can't see you, if you move the sonar can detect the change in ecco and sees you? That'd be pretty cool.

    Since they are likely using the same frequency, maybe you'd get some sort of distorted result or echo of where the other player previously was.

    Well if the player is walking or sneaking at a long distance, it might not look too out of place from the goggles. When it goes through a lot of surfaces, the image becomes sort of distorted, and more like a blob. And even then, the sonar goggles identify interactive objects, etc. So, there's that.

    ....as long if people play as

    killing NPC wont count as points
    then tactics will increase
    keeping in mind that if there is an option for that i would

    i will try to wait for him to come out
    if not then i will make the guards do the finding for me by setting of an explosion

    i would either hide by a single guard or near a groupd of guards (depending on how smart my opponent is) and wait for him to attack or i will alert them and run off so if they spot my opponent then they will attack him and i will be able to find out where he is and shoot him.
