I havent read the book, although i cant wait to. For those of you who have, do you think that the game will follow the same storyline? because i always thought the book would be like the story of a soldier in this setting. idk. thoughts anyone?

Well, in the book the JSF and the EF are allied. We know that isn't the case in the game. Also, the book takes place mid-war whereas the game is the war. The book kinda opperates on it's own story with the Endwar backstory as it's support.

Ohh ok that makes sense. thanx sniper.
No problem.

the book mentions how previously the EF and JSF had been at odds to the point of no military alliance previously - maybe that is the game or
the book takes place right before the game (which i think is more likely)
It's more or less right before the game.... but the book isn't on the same storyline as the game..... The writer collaborated with the EndWar devs to make sure there weren't any inconstancies (China nuking russia or something like that)....but he ultimately chose to make his book his own story with a little bit of EndWar inspiration.
Feel free to use any of my sigs as your own

the book has the paris battle from the trailer mentioned and the whole terrorist thing with the space marine station thing covered but otherwise the book and game are probably about as close the Rainbow Six book and game were.
Well, like previously stated, the book mentioned some things that happened in the game (Gen. Smith dying after calling in a kinetic strike on his position [end of the EndWar trailer]) and terrorists seizing the ISS, but other than that, none of the book's battles were big enough to be in the game.Originally posted by xmarcxfrenchiex:

Also, most of the battles in the book were covert ops.
Just as they lay waste to our country, we shall lay waste to theirs.........
Long live Mother Russia!!!!
