Im on Steam 1.1.31785
Worked great for me. I realize that doesn't help you, but it did work to some degree.
I also tried disabling SLI (i have 2 x 450gts nvidia's), didn't help, if anything the blinking became worse.
Win 7 64 bit, latest nvidia drivers.
According to your version number the game is not updated to 1.1.1 You still have the older version
Okay this is very weird, within steam I did a forced revalidate of files and it updated the client to 1.1.0( or did it downgrade it?).
3 things make it odd; I seemingly went backwards a version from 1.1.31785 to 1.1.0
The cursor flickering has been fixed although the game still doesn't say 1.1.1
No matter how many times I restarted steam client and game today it was still on 1.1.31785
The game DID automatically patch in steam this morning to 1.1.31785, from what version I do not know...
So which is the proper version? Have I gone backwards, will the steam version get 1.1.1, why isn’t the game patcher patching itself after steam? I see the game patcher launch each time the game is started.
i had no blinking prepatch.. now i have blinking.. but only minor though.. like when i move cursor over certain spots of the screen buttons and stuffs like that..
I had the same problem. Try verifying cache integrity in Steam. It worked for me (right click game name in library and find the option in Properties). Steam should get new 1.1.1 exeIm on Steam 1.1.31785
That's what I ended up doing but it only brought me to 1.1.0.
Doesn't matter though, this version (1.1.0) has fixed the mouse flicker, odd because they said it was fixed in 1.1.1, as to why my game is not patching to it i do not know :P From what i can tell all steam users are only at 1.1.0.
It's not supposed to be a steam ap, but I think steam thinks it is and it's downgrading everyone to the base version (making sure their files match the release version), and for whatever reason the ubi launcher isn't patching it back up.
Maybe somebody at Ubi forget to tell steam that the game has it's own patcher.
