NFL and corporate sponsors be sure...

if you think this playoff run was scripted - wait till next year...its all about Payton v She-li in 2008

on another note - anyone in NE seen Belicheat? or Brady?...maybe someone should check their swimming pool or the attic.
Never saw a coach bail a game with time on the clock before

Last I heard, they were most likely going back to work on Wednesday. I think the word was that they needed to get final approval from the guild about the settlement.

The only reason I care is because they were only able to finish writing the first half of the next season of Battlestar Galactica. The new season airs on April 4th, so if they go back to work soon hopefully the delay between the two halves of the season will be short.

If only I had a talking box.

What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire
life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is,
    but it's there,

The only reason I care is I've really gotten into the show Jericho (post nuclear survival stories are kinda a hobbie of mine), they have ordered a few episodes of the second season but until the writers go back to work they only have a few in the can.
"The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter.[Europe], under pretence of governing they have divided their nations into two classes, wolves and sheep. If once [the people] become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress, and Assemblies, judges and governors shall all become wolves. " - Thomas Jefferson

Sadly, the serious talk is that the last half of Battlestar Galactica season 4 is very likely to air in 2009. They were talking about doing that anyway before the strike and it seems even more likely now. I remember BSG actor Jamie Bamber talking about the 2009 possibility in an interview many months ago.
