No, they are not available in Closed Beta.

Hmmm. I just realized something. Obviously, there's a likely chance of wipe post close-beta. Why not release GC now, and when the wipe occurs, just refund the GC back? Ubisoft keeps its profit, and the players aren't spending money into a technical black hole by getting their currency back. Personally, I wouldn't mind throwing in a bit with no returns, but would motivate and start generating interest immediately.

They have actually already held a testing period for the GC's, I believe it was internal only testing.

Well, I understand that we need to know the currency needs to work, but I don't suppose they plan to simulate a market with people who work for them, do they? o_O

Observe. I pull out a sleek and shiny $50 bill and go BAM, I WANT 20 inventory slots, Blitz 2 and Heat 2, and let's go!

It also would allow the community to test all gun variants to make sure there aren't any problematic issues, such as the fact that the Mk 16s CQC's ironsights are impossible to use in CQC when turning, because the front and rear sight post do not line up. For reference:

Default sight picture: ( i ) Turning Sight Picture becomes ( ( )) with the entire front sight post being obscured by the rear sight post's curvature. In all my years of FPS aiming, I've never had a situation where I would aim a gun without the front sight post being visible. I've tried, but never quite got it on CoD.

A few suggestions hopefully you take note of:

1) Allow the links in the launcher to open in the user's default browser. I dispise IE with a passion, and would love for the launcher to open the links to the forums and website in my default browser (Chrome) instead.

2) Give more XP to the players that do good in matches (or give less to those who are horrible). I see people that are like 2-10 with no caps (about 250 score) and then there's others (like me), who are somewhere around 25-4 with 3 caps (figure around 4200 w/ assists), and there's only about 100xp earned difference between us. Really?

3) Heat IMO is useless as an abilility. Compared to both Specialist abilities and even the Recon's cloak, it's laughable at how poorly it operates...

4) Very minor, because of the offensive words filter in place here, the view post icon for quoted posts is an invalid uri.

I think what you guys are failing to see here is that they are releasing this game to make money. If it was easy to gain RP then that's all that people would do. By making it harder to gain RP this will make some people who are to impatient to gain said RP purchase GC (Ghost Coins) and allow them (UBI) to actually make some sort of profit from the game.

Oh I fully intend to buy at least thirty dollar worth of ghost coins when the game is officially launched the fact I can buy in game items is pure gravy I want to support GRO because I think it is a really fantastic game.

is it possible to have all the guns in the store come with a laser designator as a side attachment. im reallynot seeing the point in having select guns come with side attachments.

Muted players should stay muted for any following matches

Move the camera of a person in first person lower in the head so that he has to stick enough of his head up and be vulnerable to be able to shoot someone, right now he can shoot you and be unkillable by just peaking on a slope or something

Add some more game modes, such as Last Man Standing where there are no points to capture and no respawns, it's first team to kill off the other team wins or most players at end of the round still alive wins. Seige would be another good one, each team takes turns defending a point, no respawns. Also a modified version of conquest where there are 5 uncaptured points scattered across the map and each team has to fight for control of 3 of them, the team holding the most points when the timer ends wins or the team to capture all 5 points wins.

Instead of doing damage, Melee attacks should knock people down like the Shield attack of Assault. I've one-shotted people with a melee attack and I can't even one shot people with a sniper rifle most of the time.

I think that this hasn't been mentioned yet: the objective markers are really annoying, because it can block i tiny part of the screen.

I'd like it to fade so it becomes transparant or that it fades away when you look that way.
