I believe the recoil is just fine. For those that don't like the recoil, try an SMG or get a better LMG or assault rifle. It seems perfect. You just need to upgrade what you have.

I played as recon and having a blast. I wouldn't camp either. I play sniper in every game I play and I rush just like I have an assault rifle. When I switched to the SMG I was in heaven.

For those saying that running speed shouldn't be different between classes, I completely DISAGREE. I play recon and have the lowest health points. The trade off is that I can run a little faster. If the Dev's make running speed equal then they have to make HP equal, at which point the only difference in classes is abilities. No, things are great the way they are. People just need to realize that there are positive and negative effects for all attributes.

As for melee, I used it a ton and it never failed me. I think people are just expecting "auto aim" like COD does when you melee as you lunge forward 10 feet for a cheap kill. Melee works perfectly if you are on top of someone, just don't expect to lunge forward. I like that you use your weapon for melee. Please do NOT follow suit with the other games and implement a knife. I miss the old school way of bashing with the **** of my weapon.

I'll just get straight to the point:

• Reduce the bounce on grenades
  
  • My god, it is difficult to land these things because of their bounce! It's especially hard if you're trying to lob one through a window. Yes, I do understand that there is an under throw, but the bounce in general is ridiculous. For having a premium cost to use temporarily, it's very difficult to use.
  
  
• Reduce volume of "heart beat" sounds
  
  • Plain and simple; it's far too loud. Not even guns are as loud as the throbbing heart beat. Yeah sure, it's there to make it difficult to hear other things, but that doesn't mean you should have to turn down your speakers to bear with it.
  
  
• Do something about the silly popularity of the Recon class
  
  • There are too many players using this class. There are games where I am literally the only one using a different class. This isn't a joke.
  
  
• Reduce the "wam-up" time
  
  • Two and a half minutes of "warm-up" is a bit too long don't you think?
  
  
• Restore used grenades that were used in warm-up
  
  • One time I experimented with grenades in a warm-up session. The big problem is that you don't get them back; they are spent and gone. The game hasn't even official started. Isn't that silly?
  
  
• Allow aiming over cover
  
  • So I'm looking down my sights to shoot an enemy but then I have approach some cover. Now I have lost my ability to aim. That's not right.

Create a lobby before the game starts where players can talk about and choose their roles (sniper, assault, support).

This would remove situations where there's a painful imbalance in classes. It would also possibly allow teams to work out high level strategies before the game.

Offering XP boosts as incentive for players that choose to fill one of the 3 roles that's not represented would also be helpful. You could also go the other way and enforce XP penalties for players that choose to play classes that are over-represented in the current match.

I know this copies a feature that another popular F2P game uses, but it works really well.

Hmm, I like that idea bobbled. Only thing I don't like is the fact that I truly enjoy Recon for it's advantages and disadvantages. I don't camp, I use the SMG, but enjoy running fast and I use oracle with in tandem with teammates who use the spec class and they purposely block me and let me run in their bubble. I would be upset to incur an XP penalty for playing a class I enjoy and playing it well. Even though I understand all the camping snipers that are often associated with the class.

Also, why is the warm up time so high? I forgot about it when I initially posted. It bothers me that it's so high.

You may not know what im talking about but......
Yesterday, I played at a mall-like (sorry i didn't catch the name) map. Anyway, while walking around, I saw a "display" of soldiers. I wanted to blend in with them and wait for someone to come by so I could assassinate them.
Here's the deal...
PLEASE make that acsessable. You press spacebar and blend in, when someone comes by, you strike.

Just to note: when you get into a match lobby and the notification to switch to the lobby comes up, you can switch classes without losing your spot. This gives you a chance to look at the class distribution and make adjustments. I still like your full suggestions about have a match lobby, but wanted to make sure you all knew this functionality exists

Not sure if it's been said yet, but there should be point rewards for players attempting to capture objectives (perhaps +5/10 points per second spent on the objective seeing as how dying seems to very common). There needs to be some incentive to actually bothering to capture the **** things, otherwise everyone just plays recon and tries to rack up kills instead. It also serves as a great alternative to players who have little points due to dying a lot so they can focus on capturing and staying alive as opposed to killing.

Also, a secondary concern is in Moscow City Metro, where one of the train tracks in the center-side of the map is heavily abused by one of the teams while there is no opposite side tracks to balance it out for the opposing.

Finally, for Specialists, please have the LMG firing rate set to Auto by default on spawn. I keep having to change it back each time, and early on, there were a number of deaths on my part because I thought the LMG was supposed to be automatic.

EDIT: Also, I'm not sure if it's possible, but since the game is run peer-to-peer, would there be some chance of having servers host matches instead for better ping across the board?

That is good to know.

Also, and again this will seem minor to you but to me it's the little things that make the game. When I'm not running and my crosshairs are up it shows you your critical hit damage in the bottom right of your reticle. What would be EVEN BETTER is if it showed my teammates HP instead. Or maybe switched to show their HP once my crosshairs were on them. Again, seems minor but I have been playing with people I've just met in this beta and we like to all cover each other until our HP is restored. Having this would be greatly beneficial and actually functional. Showing me my crit damage seems so unnecessary.

For me there are a couple of things:

1.) The option to change classes mid-game
2.) This would be neat, but it would be cool and unique if you could buy equipment with RP and customize your loadout before you even log in (i.e. on the Ubisoft website); it would make the experience a bit more streamlined.
3.) Include some extra maps that aren't as linear, especially for different game types.

P.S. And also there should be a tutorial for beginners, just so they get used to it.

Seeing as this is a CB, this will probably come at the end, but, yes, this is very useful. It's better than jumping into a round and run around like a headless chicken until you know what to do, especially when dealing with stuff like sprint-into-cover mechanics (which I use a lot), which may be tricky for beginners to get used to.
