I was looking everywhere hoping to have some news about the next sequel of the homm saga. And I finally found it... What a great announcement!!!!

The picture of Homm V are really awesome, however, the homm serie has never built his public with graphics on the front line. Homm is by tradition a pure gameplay (and awesome songs).

The best one for me is the second opus; without addon (due to the ghosts too strong). It was so well balanced. The third one is great too but the balance wasn't (the archimage was too powerful).

About Homm5, I m a bit concern when I read on some website: "revolutionary system of tactical combat". Are they going to change the way the combat works? the gameplay? (getting rid of the changes made in homm4 whould be a good idea though :P)

What about the music? Are they going to keep the same medieval ambiance? I loved the music from homm2 and 3 so much, I just hope we will have the same kind of magical music.

I loved H2 and 3 and would like to see some of those coming back in H5. The music and, coming mostly with it, the athmosphere wrere so great!

But I have best hopes and expectings for the fith part

Just last night I was searching for HOMM 5 to see if there was any news. Today it seems my prayers were answered. Looking forward to it!

I must be one of the only ones who liked HOMM IV (and I'm not afraid to admit it ) Sure it was different from the previous games in the series, but it was still a good game. I for one loved the well developed stories of the campaigns. There were things I didn't like about it too though. Like mixing up death and demonic e.g.

But that's enough about that, it looks like HOMM V is shaping up to be a great game. I can't wait till they finish it and I can get my greedy little paws all over it

For me, my favorite were the first two but I have fallen in love with HOMM4 and the addition of the caravan. The worst part of HOMM 1-3 was having to daisy chain your armies across the map.

Atmosphere was awesome in both, I agree. My personal favorites for music were H1 and H2.

Agreed. I miss the caravan whenever I play one of the earlier games. Bring it back in HV please!
