Thread: Preventing Rank and A.C.E.S. Reset | Forums

  1. #1
Alright, I know many have become victim to losing their rank and A.C.E.S. There is a way to prevent it though. From the people I know who have played Vegas 2 and have had their rank reset experienced the following of creating a new character. This is the screen where you choose your character to be male or female. If you recieve this screen do the following:

    1.Back out of that screen.
2.Open up Xbox360 Dashboard and sign out of your acount.
3.Sign back in and try again.

This has worked for me everytime it asks me to re-create me character. It will load up your previous character profile, meaning no rank reset of A.C.E.S. reset.

    INFO ON RESET
This is 100% true but it's more theory. Basically, when it asks you to re-create acount for some reason, that new profile overlaps your old one making you start at the beginning. This isn't a Ubisoft serve glitch of the likes. Since your character is saved directly to your harddrive/memory card, it makes no sense that your memory doesn't have your character anymore. Reloading your profile assumingly reloads your Vegas 2 memory.

I hope this helps anyone who might experience this problem.
