I used the tunnel system for the first time, the game autosaved. When I loaded up on the other side of the tunnel, I was dead and the game was desynchronizing me. The game wouldn't load, so I hit the BACK button to open the map, closed it out instantly. It loaded to my last save point(which was me entering the tunnel) and now everytime it loads I just load up dead on the other side of the tunnel. 7 hours gone...
Which platform are you on? please let us know the platform, sequence, and memory that you are currently having issues with. Also if you are on the Xbox 360 version of the game try going to your hard drive and find the Assassins Creed Brotherhood save files. You will most likely have Assassin's Creed 1A & Assassin's Creed 1B. If so, try deleting the Assassins Creed 1A file and then retry the game to see if it works properly.
yea, probably should have put that info in here in the first place. Lol, sorry. I'm on the Xbox 360, and did attempt the suggestion of the files on my hard drive. I deleted 1A, when i reopened my save data it gave me a notice saying my save file was corrupted or damage and a backup was available, but progress may be lost--I loaded my game and was still in the same position. I'm currently on Sequence 2, after memory 4 before memory5. I have spent most of my time killing guards for cash to renovate, and I was using a tunnel in the northen part of the Centro District to tavel to the Campagna District. Any other suggestions or am I starting over
Currently I do not have another suggestion for that type of problem. I will need to report something like this to the dev teams. The quickest solution is most likely to just start a different profile from the main menu. However If I receive any additional information I will post details here.
Alright thanks for your time...I more or less assumed I'd be restarting, but at least its in the air now so if it is an issue, it can be patched or something so it doesn't happen to others.
The same exact thing happened to me. I had just finished chasing down the thief and wanted used a tunnel entrance and when I came out on the other side I was dead and lost all my florins. And every time I load up the game it takes me to the same spot.

Exact same thing happening to me. I am on PS3. I am on sequence 2 memory 4 completed. I was messing around upgrading Rome and killing tower captains to burn the towers when I used a tunnel. First time trying a tunnel so I can not tell you at all where I was traveling from/to. As soon as the game tries to load it "desynchronize" and I die. the screen does not reload unless I press either the start or select button in which case it all happens again. If I do not press start or select I can press any other button there is and nothing will happen. It just stays looking at the sky after the screen pans up from my dead body...
same thing same place and before deleting 1a i noticed 1a and 1b had the same stat and time making them identical

The exact same thing happened to me. 360, sequence 2, after mission 4, Centro to Campagna District... All of it.
