I just started this topic to see how many people would be intrested in having a level editor for making Prince of persia levels. Can you imagine if they give us one !!! We would have so much fun with it. If The development team reads this, please make it available for us ... We Would be eternally thankful !

As I dont think many games will be made anymore with this engine (at least not for PoP) there is a good chance that it can be released for public.
On the other hand I believe that this editor will be very complicated to use. I think building 3D environments is very underestimated. Many time it will take to create a level for one person. I would certainly be interested as I love mapmaking, add special effects and creating gameplay.
Live forever, and those I loved are dead and I to blame? ...I choose death!
That sounds pretty cool. But I personally want them to make a limited edition case

you're right with the next generation of consoles coming quite soon, the engine would have to redeveloped from scratch to suit the new capabilities so there might a good chance we'll be getting a level editor, I really hope so.
well i think that having a pop 3 level editor
will not be that helpfull cause with the rapid developement of the editors who knows it might get obsolite very soon but guys, guys
hav any1 thought what is going to be the title of pop3 ? any idea anyone ? plz give the information if any1 know anything in that matter.
I like the idea of a Level Editor.
But if you ask me, Ubi can better spend their time on making a glitch-free game...

i definately hope so.. and i hope that they implement a online mode where you can fight eacht other. like maybe one-on-one. or maybe with like 4 or max 5 people so you can fight and your style, efficiancy, speed, the damage you take yourself etc etc defines your score.
in that case making your own maps will be definately very good. as someone here stated 3d designing is underestimated. i agree but i mean it's not for everyone. most people will just love to play online while others will want to make their own wicked *** maps and distibute them.
I don't think it'll be happening... I talked with Mr. B about this... PoP Team haven't planned about it. :|
