For all the new moviemakers out there here are a couple of basic settings changes for you to do to remove the annoying text from your movies

1st open c:\program files\ubisoft\il2 forgotten battles\conf.ini and find the following heading
[game]
NoSubTitles=0
NoHudLog=0

Change BOTH to =1
NoSubTitles=1 Stops the display of the translations like "Hello guys, glad to see you" [if you've modified the voice packs to your native language, you don't need the sub-titles]
NoHudLog=0 Stops the display on the right side of the flaps, gear, throttle, etc. status.

2nd Before starting you mission, under the "difficulty" settings enable "No Icons" [stops the red and blue arrows in no cockpit mode, and stops the green triangle in padlock] and "No Speedbar" [removes the heading, altitude, speed display in the bottom left of the screen]

3rd When playing back the tracks for recording [S-Video out, FRAPS, etc.] turn off [down] the "Display Onscreen Messages"

4th to remove the green netstat dot in the upper right corner, and the red or blue online commands in the upper left corner you need to "crop" off the top 8 pixels of the scene. VirtuaqlDub and DiVX allows this

5th
timeFirstStep= 4 is the flyby time, x seconds till it hits the camera pivot point.

deltaZ= How Far offset in meters from the viewer the pivot point is [Set as 0.01 it's flying right through the camera when wings level, default has you off to the side several degrees]

DefaultLen= distance in meters from your plane for camera in external padlock modes.
