fixed
My buddy was having problems with this error too, and he just found out how to fix it. Not sure if it will work for you guys, but give it a try. Go to C:/Users/(user/compname)/saved games/tom clancy's H.A.W.X./TitleDataRegion/CompiledShaders1 and delete the file inside the compiledshaders1 folder (which should be the name of your graphics card). HAWX crashes for him the first time he tries to open it after doing the fix, but the second time it opens. You have to do this every time you want to start the game.
hope it helps!

Hi,
Same pb here, and 2 years after no one have posted a solution ?
What have you done ? You have bring back your game ?

I feel robbed. Shame on you, Ubisoft, for publishing a game that does not run properly. First, the save dump file error and now some random crash. One less customer for you.

Guys, I just logged in to tell you that I fixed this problem with a solution found on Steam forums. Just have to reinstall the Ubisoft Launcher found here on step 3: http://ubisoft.custhelp.com/app/answ...~/error-code-1
Hope you get the game to work

well i was going through this post here and alot of others until i came up with almost nothing .. i got a clue from one guy but thats it .. now my fix was that i went to the My Documents folder (im on win xp btw) and i found that i had 2 identical user folders .. so i took the one that hawx was installed in by default .. and then i kept that open and went ahead to open another my documents and going into the other "fake" user folder .. and found that it contained a games folder .. inside was hawx as well but only a data folder which contained the folders Online and Settings so i took a copy of those folders moved them to the real hawx folder and renamed the "fake" user folder to include .bak at the end of its name so that the computer wouldnt recognize it anymore as an actual user folder and then i just started the game with the desktop shortcut and am now enjoying it =3 hope this helps those unlucky ones out there that couldnt find a solution before :P

Open the dump file. Delete all words. And read this "orospu coçukluğu yapma lan!" it works. İts not fake trust me.

This problem mostly occurs on windows xp sp3. If u have this version of window in your pc then go to properties of hawx's icon then go to compatibility tab and check box "run in compatibilty mode for" select "windows 2000" apply then click apply then ok.....also make sure that you have latest drivers of graphic card.........this will make the game work
