I have the same problem ,(brother's) high end PC , radeon HD5850 , gigabyte AMD quad phenom2 system , win7 64 bit (4GB ram , no pagefile , RAID0)

This is a major game problem , this was happening on my own PC a little older but more powerful gigabyte quad9300 intel system , however radeon HD 4870 , Xp-32bit. (i have win7 64bit too now but i didn't tried hawx on mine yet)


I happened 2 times today, i was playing like for 6 hour total , but it happens if you play longer , if you take breakes every hour you're fine. Also no OC , and cooling is at it's best.

I've got a feeling it takes a rather powerful machine...perhaps Windows 7 64 bit, more than 4GB Ram, and an expensive $500 video card..

H.A.W.X. seems to have a lot of problems with 64 bits operating systems.

How the heck did they get me to purchase the game then? I purchased it because on the demo machine in the store it looked so awesome!

I'm not saying that it doesn't work on 64bit operating systems. It is just that a lot of the .exe dump errors comes from those machines.

hapens when i try to join a coop games or Multiplayer games.

im feel really bad becouse a buy this game 2 times....

FIX FOR THE H.A.W.X. DUMP ERROR

OK GUYS N GALS..... I HAVE FOUND A WAY TO RUN HAWX ON WIN 7 ...I HAVE 32 BIT OS...AND I UPDATED THE HAWX TO 1.02 BEFORE I FOUND OUT THE WAY TO PLAY....XD

HERE IS THE WAY: (WORKED ON WIN 7 32-BIT)

1. GO TO THE FOLDER WHERE YOU INSTALLED HAWX
2. RIGHT CLICK ON THE HAWX.EXE (NOT DX10) AND CLICK PROPERTIES
3. CLICK COMPATIBILITY
4. TICK THE BOXES
a.RUN IN 640x480 SCREEN RESOLUTION
b.RUN THIS PROGRAM AS AN ADMIN
c.RUN THIS PROGRAM IN COMPATIBILITY MODE FOR(THIS IS THE TRICKY PART)...TRIAL AND ERROR METHOD..I TRIED BOTH WIN XP AND WIN VISTA...IT WORKED ON -WINDOWS VISTA (SERVICE PACK 2) FOR ME
THIS IS JUST THE WAY I RAN THE GAME ...REST I CANT ASSURE

ARGH! That was so close likemsan, but not close enough. I was actually playing from the first mission all the way to the middle or so of the third before the game crashed. Actually this time it simply terminated....
