Thread: Need support or game crashing problems - Read this first! | Forums

You know, I'm pretty darn sure most people who got this game knew that it would need some stuff to play, and I'm even more sure those people checked what they had.

My computer easily passes ALL of the requirements. ALL OF THEM. And it still crashes. It crashes, crashes again, and, will you look at that? IT CRASHES AGAIN.

If this isn't fixed within the next week, then I'll declare this the worst $15 I've ever spent. EVER.
The people who were dissapointed by Brink's debut failure got free maps and weapons and stuff, we should get something to make up for this letdown.

This had better be patched or fixed or whatever it is you guys do, and we'd better get at least something for not being able to pay a game we played money for.

This has been the opinion of a very angry buyer.
    Thanks for reading.

Damn, I meet all of the requirements at almost the recommended level except for the video card. It's just a little Intel(HD) card that came with this laptop.

So basically, until I get enough money to build a decent gaming desktop PC, I pretty much just burned $15.00 on a lousy TF2 mask that can only be worn on the Demoman.

I know exactly how you feel. The only thing I need to play this game appears to be a different video card. It would be great if I didn't have to go searching for the reason I can't play this game AFTER I've bought it. I guess mentioning this after the fact means that much more money for them.

No offense, but not having the graphics requirement is after all your own fault. The game does say what it requires where you buy it.

Not that it would matter, because even if you did have the requirements, as of the moment, basically no one can play the game due to all the glitches.

Actualy building a decent gaming PC wont help. I put down over $10,000 on the components for my new system I built just a couple of months ago, And guess what, from dust wont load the main menu.

Computer configuration is far beyond recommended configuration. Video card drivers are up to date.

Game STILL CRASHES approximately 45 seconds into the opening cinematic when you start a new story.......nice..

I'm pretty ****ed that it doesn't specifically say in the game description/requirements that Intel Graphic Cards aren't compatible. That's pretty messed up! Now I have a game that I wasted $15 that I can't play which I can't get a refund on because I bought a digital copy. If I had known, I would have got it on my Xbox but it's misleading. Also if my video card isn't compatible, why did it pass the System Requirement Test? A lot of laptops have Intel Integrated Graphics with no option of upgrading video cards. I feel like I've been scammed!

My two year old laptop played the game without any graphic or audio errors. It was a bit laggy, but I could play it somewhat enjoyably. I think that Ubisoft should probably been a bit more vocal about the fact that there's an entire base of customers who can't play this game and have bought and pre-ordered it.

Some people aren't completely computer literate. Maybe they have no idea what is in their computer, or where to find the requirements for games like this. I know it's probably a the gaming equivalent of a bomb scare, but it would have been nice to know that an entire line of graphics cards wouldn't support this game without having to grab my internet pickaxe and digging up the info myself.

I'm sorry but who do i talk to about a refund. This is insane that a company blatantly lies about a product they are selling. Beyond that it just doesn't work. Exceed the minimum requirements and it wont run on my main computer. However my ****ty old laptop can run it (lags because it falls short of every requirement). I would like my money back please.

I bought this game, and as soon as i try to load it from Ubisoft launcher, Windows 7 comes up with the error "From_Dust.exe has stopped working". all my drivers are up to date, a patch fixing this widespread problem would be the least you guys can do.
