Thread: Trim controls. | Forums

Is it just me (and probably not..) but some planes don't have any trim control. It's extremely frustrating that some of these planes don't have any aileron or rudder trim.

Sometimes I just want a nice relaxing flight in a different plane and the thing is all over the place and I have to constantly make flight adjustments.

I guess that's why some planes have always been nicer to fly than others!

Yeah Mate, as you suspect some of the aircraft don't have full trim controls e.g. The Spitfire has it for rudder and elevator but not for ailerons.

Try to fly it applying a little less power...
The 109 goes pretty straight at 65 to 70% power setting....

Most non-trimmable aircraft are pre-trimmed for cruising.
The 109 is using preset -though adjustable by ground crew- rudder tabs.
On the MC202 (not sure of the exact model) one wing is longer than the other to reduce torque...
