When I use my Logitech Chillstream, which works flawlessly with other games, in
Assassin's Creed, the up and left D-Pad buttons are switched. Even on menus,
pressing left on the D-pad will cause the menu option to move up, and pressing
up on the D-pad will cause the menu option to move left. This makes it very
tough in-game when the hidden blade is shown as the "up" option, but each time I
have to tell myself to press "left". It just breaks the flow of the game.

I'm using a Logitech Chillstream, which is detected by my computer as an Xbox
360 controller. It works flawlessly on all other games and applications, and
nothing else has this problem except for Assassin's Creed (on my Control Panel
test, the directions are detected properly). Could you please help me with this?
Thank you very much!
