I hear ya. SF actually worked I have no problems with them using it. BUt when you pay for a game the last thing you wnat to do is troubleshoot why a game isnt working... when you find out it is because of something like StarForces crappy design in the their software then it upsets many and will continue to do so.

I have been seeing lots of chatter about people not buying games if StarForce is a part of the install. This is only going to cause problems for developer of games such as the case with Ubisoft.

This is total BS and I am very upset with how much time I have wasted trying to ge this game to work. I am alos upset that when I have gone to Ubisoft with the problem they are passing me to Starforce and telling me talk to them they can help you possibly. But when I spoke with StarForce they tell me it is a hardware issue on my side. Sorry Starforce you job is to make this stuff work not mine.

    one last thing...

i am requesting that others take a stand and ban games with StarForce built into them. Please join me. Please send emails to companies like Ubisoft and tell them your story. I have sent mine to the CEO of Ubisoft Yves Guillemot.
