Yep ! Guess I should have gone to spec savers..
BUT.... What stands out glaringly is that the most popular wheel(s) in the market place are missing from your list... Namely the Logitech G25/G27 Are they supported please ?

I always have an issue with online activation. I bought Mafia II from a store and had at the time blown my internet bandwidth for the month, hence why I bought the game to do something since the internet was very slow. It required me to activate it through Steam which it refused to do because it kept timing out due to the slow speed. A coworker had a cracked version that bypased this activation and he was playing it before I was and I'd bought the thing. I fail to see how this game will be any different and what with Sony's abysmal security is it surprising that perhaps not everyone wants to have their game system connected at all to the internet. Hell I even used the fixed exe patch later because I don't want steam to keep starting each time I just want to play.
Please treat us PC gamers with some respect ubisoft!!
I have Pre Ordered the deluxe edition on steam and can't wait for it to be out.
But please listen to us, we have as much right as all the console players.
The DRM notice really needs to be clarified if Ubisoft want to avoid the problems that happened with From Dust. Steam still says this:
Ubishop doesn't state the internet requirement at all (??) and Gamestop's Impulse states that:Ubisoft requires a permanent Internet connection to play this video game at all times.
I understand Ubisoft needs some time to recover from the DRM fiasco with From Dust, but I think it's in everyone's best interest if Ubisoft starts providing accurate and consistent information about the DRM on their games across all channels of communication.A PERMANENT HIGH SPEED INTERNET CONNECTION AND CREATION OF A UBISOFT ACCOUNT ARE REQUIRED TO PLAY THIS VIDEO GAME AT ALL TIMES.
So the only supported Logitech wheel has been obsolete for many years, and the all-time best selling wheel, the G25, is not supported in spite of remaining the standard bearer even though it was released 5 years ago.
But somehow a far less popular brand, Thrustmaster, is fully supported. Does is have anything to do with the fact that Thrustmaster is owned by Guillemot Corporation, headed by Michel Guillemot, brother of Ubisoft founder and CEO Yves Guillemot?
Hello @ll,
so you can not play the PC game with the Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2?
You can play anything with anything unofficially with an emulator.Originally posted by PuR_ZeL:

Can you tell me what is the emulator? How does it work where can I get one?
For a controller you can use something like XpadderOriginally posted by PuR_ZeL:

oh man, everyone should just boycott the game.
I'm not buying it based on the fact i'm being treated as a criminal.
i've played the demo on the ps3 and i'm not that impressed anyway so i dont feel like i'm going to be missing much.
all the console versions have already been pirated, but its only the pc users that are treated like crap. problem is ubisoft count on idiots buying the game and not having the balls to do anything about it when the drm screws the computer or the game just wont work.
and i love the crap that its not drm that is delaying the game, of course it is. the game is developed at the same time across all platforms, drm is integrated later into the pc version, the problems they have now are getting the game to run on the pc with the drm installed without the problems they have had in all past games they have released.
drm is no different to cavity searching every person as they leave a department store.
