That meant in my case that Direct3D hardware acceleration was not switched on - hope that applies in your case as well.

You might try different drivers for the 5200.

Set your screen resolution on the Windows desktop to 1024x768x32 before loading the game.

Thank you for your suggestions, i did change my screen settings, and wow yeah it works . Brilliant. Sadly though the game will only run for a short period i.e 5-10 mins, then i get a system reboot. I appreciate there must be countless reasons for this, but I'm certainly open to suggestions before i take my pc to my local store, to see if a upgrade would help, not sure if i'm throwing money away though. Not sure if the cpu heat is to much ? dont know how to check. Dont know a lot really, sorry, and thanks again....

I think you are on the right track suspecting heat.

If you have a modern MB, check their web site (or your MB install-support disk) for a system monitor program that will let you see the temperatures and fan speeds.

One test you can make is take the sides/covers off your case and play the game. If you get more playing time, then temps ARE your problem. At high graphics settings, this game will push your graphics card to the max.
