If monsters want you to buy them, you cannot simply refuse and let them flee as you could in previous Heroes Games. If you refuse, you simply back out of the combat and the pile remains. This is not fair to tears players to force them to either purchase the stack (which only provides tears the first time) of what may be useless creatures or else fight them and get blood.

Please fix this silliness.

Totally agree. Refusing the offer in previous HOMMs would trigger the "Attack or Let Flee" option. It's dumb not being able to refuse and chase them off

Getting extra blood points as a tears hero doesn't really affect you at all so don't worry about it. It's just that you don't get extra tears points for that stack.
