    the use that SH4 application has with this file msvcr71.dll, I manage to get the error report up after a CTD when I use the 'A ' button or use the mouse to adjust depth ...so this makes the game totally unplayable for me

    Thanks for the reply but unfortunatley all this does is to set your current depth to null, meaning if I hit the 'A' the sub will start to surface
