Wow, so it was true after all. The XM 8 project was cancelled. So the US Army is now switching to this new gun? Damn, i thought the XM8 looked and worked Sweet.
yeah, it failed the test, but still, it is in game.

The X infront of something in the military means Trial.
But the project has been scrapped, but there are M8s in use just not many.

So, grenade launchers will be in the game then?

Anywho from my understanding the M8 was challenged by other companies that HK was getting special treatment or something so the program was put on hold, according to hatchetforce over at GR.net it most likely will be resumed.
I personally think if the SCAR is as well liked among the SF(HF said alot of good stuff about it) it may end up making its way to the rangers and airborne or something and eventually to everyone.
