    I remembered that one of our member "EddieDeath" ,posted a topic about AI config or something else.
    All about editing the "DefaultAIActionTypeConfig.ini" and the "PCKellerAIActionTypeConfig.ini" these 2 files.

    It seems can't stop the terrorists rush to you like stupid. But can you make them throwing Frag or Incendiary instead of throwing Flash?

    Moreover, someone said that he edited some values that can make the terrorists "retreat" or "hide in the cover" more...but I have no idea what values should change and which number is correct(the range of the values seems from -5 to 5). Can someone help me? Thx

    maybe u can PM eddie and ask him to answer on the forum. im curious to know if this is possible too.

    I gave up on this. Checkout my vids on youtube to see how far I got - just search for EddieDeath.

    Ultimately I found that the AI file simply controlled the attacking behaviour i.e. what types of cover to use and how much the AI fires at you. Whatever determines the movement behaviour of AI before then have confronted you must be somewhere else.

    I never had any trouble having 40 active tangos on a map with them all moving around and attacking even in Coop. Only problem is once the body piles are 20 guys high the physics can crash the game.

    So much could be done to make the AI interesting to play against:

    1) The most basic behaviour of an AI simply not moving at all.

    2) AI actually defending a given location instead of rushing after you.

    3) All the way to organised dynamic patrols, search parties and a command and control system.

    All stuff modders could code in their free time tweaking away at the unreal script code if we had access to it.

    I watched your video "Rainbow Six Casino Vault Terrorist Hunt" on youtube. And I noticed at Vegas 1 the terrorists will throw frag or even smoke. (I never see terrorists throw smoke at Vegas 2)

    So I copy those two AIActionTypeConfig files from Vegas 1 to Vegas 2 and overwrote them. But seems no effect at all. (they even dumb)

    What do you think?

    That's too bad that you couldn't get farther with it, although the fanpack is supposed to fix the most annoying part of TH, the beam-ins (both in front and behind you). It would have been nice though to have Ubi or a Mod be able to spawn everyone at start, guess it's hard to do though when you have 30 tangos running around Villa!
