i cant play online cuz xxml.dll is missing. any help? | Forums

please. as i said, when i click "play on ubi.com" on my desktop, it says xxml.dll is missing. ive tried reistalling it a couple o times but that never works.

and i searched it on the internet and i can buy it for 10 dollars, whcih is a joke. can someone send it me or somethin?

What have you tried?
Go in GRAW to multyplayer, internet and create a new gamespy account on the bottom of teh screen, and you should be fine.
Never heard of this bug before.

Which game is it GRAW or original Ghost Recon? The play on ubi.com bit sounds like OGR. Thing is I still have both on my pc, both play ok but I cannot find this dll on my system. If it's OGR are you patched to 1.4?

thank you very much for the reply. yes it is the original ghost recon. I am afraid i do not understand what 'patch' means so can not answer your question. If theres anything else you could help me with it'd be much apreciated

A patch is a fix for bugs in the game, as well as improvements.
You might find the 1.4 patch (latest for GR1) here. You want the patch next to the dark green reticule icon, not the light green skull. You'll see what I mean when you click the link.

hey. cheers. i downloded the patches to the point where i had 1.4. still doesnt work.

did you install the gamespy thingy?
do So, and download X-fire, use that to find online servers and games. (BADS, BPR, enough still active clans to join and great fun)
