VPN/Anti-filter Questions and Advice | Forums

Hi,

I have an Iranian friend that has requested I download and install "VPN/Anti-filer" software but to be honest I know absolutely nothing about this. There's no need to ask why I am asking as I'm sure you can put 2 and 2 together. I think it's important to know I'm using Linux.

Walls need to be broken. Anyone with a special interest or curiosity should send me a PM.

Any information would be greatly appreciated from those who most need it.

In Iran there is heavy net filtering in place, using this forum to discus by passing the VPN filtering isn't really relevant.

There are easier ways to do it but not to be discussed here, most Iranians know what to do anyway.

Persian filter is another way round it.

Be-careful as I have seen isp's pull the plug on even non Persian nationals for doing "certain" things
