Alright, I just finished the Assassin's Creed book: Renaissance. It mainly followed the storyline of the game, but I noticed he added bits in. Some of these are giving Ezio's parents a proper berial, and revisting Cristina.

I then realised all these extra bits are the Cristina missions from ACB, and because the book was published before the game, do you think Ubisoft took the ideas from the book?

You are correct - they took these bits from the book into AC:B. They did it because you only see Cristina once, which is a bit '=S' if she's the love of his life.

That's true. The Cristina missions are heartbreaking.

They're awful!! When I saw the fifth mission I couldn't speak for five minutes because I ACTUALLY CRIED!!

I feel so sorry for Ezio!

I usually tend to attempt to upheld a pretence of stereotypical masculinity but that final mission did genuinely move me too lol.

It is stated on the AC Wiki (taken from a random dev, I guess..) that ubi added Christina's memories in reply to fans who though she didn't play an important role in ACII. It also says that these memories where taken from AC: Renaissance book.

    ^_^

    Lol same for me.
That last mission... it was brief but I almost cried... Most emotional mision in AC ever, at least for me.

Completely. I got a few tears, my mum walked into my room and I had an awkward moment while I had to make up a reason of me crying, and obviously not saying that it was a video game.

I mean it, for me it was the most emotional, I tried not to cry and sucked the tears in, but I was incredibly close... specially when she shows him the necklace... gosh... and then when she says her final words...

Then... "Requiescat In Pace... My Love..."

    ...

Not even what happened at the end of AC:B made me feel the same way... although at the end I was screaming: "WTF!? NOO! NOOOO!"
