I downloaded the second PoP title for PS2 on my PS3 from PSN. The one life upgrade where you have to break the gate will not work. I'm sure this is a bug now as I have been through the game twice. What can I do? To whom can I complain?

yes, it's a known glitch from the original release. it's a game-breaker. you're pretty much screwed and either have to pull from an older save or restart the game entirely. sorry. ubi didn't fix any glitches in the HD re-release... i ran into one on that same area (the first time you visit that portal just before getting the mask of the wraith) where i didn't get a cut scene, COULD break through, and the portal disappears into a black pit where you fall to your death. it's pretty sad that they didn't do anything to fix these glitches. when playing WW in particular, i recommend creating multiple saves and go back to older saves if one still gets the same glitches. its excessive glitches and bugs were a big downer for a number of fans.

Are you talking about:

You may successfully get the Life Upgrade any time after you have the Scorpion Sword that breaks walls.

When you turn the rotating lever towards the Fortress Entrance, climb the Central Hall rock formation, and proceed through the upper red curtain.
You will return to a large Southern Passage room where Shahdee ran away from you closing a gate behind her.
There are many corner platforms (balconies) and beams that connect many of the corner platforms.
Ascend up many platforms (maybe seven?) just before jumping over to the hanging lever.
Notice a crate in a side room that is barred. Break the metal bars with your sword.

What happens when you swing the Scorpion Sword against the metal bars?

Well that's strange because he winds up like he's going to smash the wall. I'll play through it again and try it with the scorpion sword. I also think there's another part of the game in the garden area where there's a broken wall that I can't smash either. I'm pretty sure I tried to smash that with the sword before the Lion Sword.
