Thread: Headphones for Game Play? | Forums

  1. #1
Sometimes I have to use earphones for game play, because others in the house don't want to hear the battle sounds.

What are some of the best headphones to get that you really can keep the full sense of the sound. Earphones are nice, but lack the depth and richness.

ohh my friend I only use headphones!
same problem as you with noise. when i play war games you can hear the stuff outside, we dont want neighbours to call the swat team if their hear gunz a blazing

You can still get rich 3d sound with hearphones. I got a pair of cordless 900mhz headphones that are amazing and comfy too. as well a very good set of studio headphones are a lot cheaper then a nice set of speakers amp and sub.
use headphones that are around or above 100 bucks or you will not have that great sound quality.

I just recently went through that dilema. I recommend these LTB-USB-M

5.1 surround sound. Integrated Sound Card (so you can use it with ANY COMPUTER ON EARTH, without the need of a sound card). Usb conection (1.1 or above),detachable microphone. You can connect it to TVs, DVDs, radios, etc.

key word here... USB 5.1 SURROUND SOUND

Thanks, I picked up a pair and they are awesome. You have to make sure you set them up, otherwise they work as normal headphones. After setting them up AND the game for high quality sound, they work great.

I was playing COD and thought something was wrong when the sound was only coming out of one speaker. Until I realized the other side was quiet because nothing was going on, on that side of the game. As you move the sound travels around you. Situational awareness is greatly enhanced
