Having just completed all my aces and still being on elite 25. Just how bloody long is this thing going to take me? Did Ubi really think 300 aces would be enough to help us out here?
At my estimation this is going to take me a good few months now to rank up to level 99.

Discuss? Pointers?

months?... try years... lvl 43 elite requires 130,000xp to level up..... lvl 97 is 240,000

Good god please tell me you're not being serious lol.
As much as i love this game, i thought i couldnt put it down, but i do have an inkling that it will get a little tedious at 10 points per kill. I hope and prey i dont get bored of it all.
Is there a site that shows us all the points needed?

not kidding... unfortunately your a console player... pc user can play on squadgames servers and get 2000pts a round or better if your good

If youre talking about console gaming then yes this is what it has come to especially in Vegas 2. Its so stupid that people focus more on arguing about ranks than teamwork or they fight about who has the best gun, most kills and just about every other thing. You should see people in Halo when I used to play it well it was always an unpleaseant time because everyone argued about those things. Everyone still argues about those things and 360 community has way too little intelligent people.

hehe too true, its the same with pc sadly...

i think achievements and ranks are one of worst things to happen in gaming. you're right, people are more concerned about getting to the next ranks, or unlocking the next weapon...

i joined a server in Team fortress 2 and got banned shortly after because they were all trying to get all their stupid achievements finished. same with call of duty 4.... there are entire servers where all they do is work on achievements - headshots and things...

games were a lot better when everyone had the same gun, or the guns were already around the map. no one was whining about "he has a better gun than me"

and then comes around aim bot and crap....

this is why i mainly play singleplayer games these days....

don't have to deal with the whining, the accusing, the cursing...
