Thread: A Few SH3 Bugs to Report | Forums

    I have found three bugs, but can't necessarily recreate them 100% of the time.

    (1) Random CTD. Can't put a finger on it, but it may be my drivers or the game. Who knows!

    (2) Save games not always correct. I saved a game mid-mission because I had sunk a ship and was being pursued by others and knew it'd probably take more than one try. Anyways, when I saved I was surfaced, but when I reloaded (after I died) I was submerged, and my crew was still on the deck with no ill effects. See here:



    (3) Sometimes the "up" key gets stuck while in external view, so the view will constantly move "forward". Even if I go into the ship and then do an external view again. It seems to happen at times after I have been holding down the Shift key to accelerate the movement. Really annoying. Have to save and exit out and restart to fix it.

    Well, hopefully these can be fixed in the next patch. I also notice the system hangs a bit if you are at 1024x time accelration and enter a harbor or nearby ships. But then that may be because it is trying to load a bunch of stuff all of a sudden at once.

    Download and install patch 1.1
    Then save from within a mission or career.
    No more frogmen in the sail.

    Nope the Devs said they fixed the frog men problem in patch 1.1

    The crew that remains on watch while underwater was fixed.

    Bow locks! It still does it on mine and I've saved many a time. Every time I come back they are still there. Not a problem just looks stupid.

    I have patch 1.1 installed. I patched right after I bought and installed SH3. It may be a minor problem, but it "wastes" four men that must be stationed on the deck that could be resting.

    Still looks like it is a problem.

    HMM.....I updated to 1.1,butwhen i load a save which is in periscope depth, still there are frogmen on the deck.

    Same here: Even with patch 1.1 installed, sometimes when I dive the deck crew remains on deck. I also dont get the quick commands for underwater - just for the surface etc. even though I am at 15 meter depths.
    I guess it wasnâ´t really fixed.....

    RE Magma: you can go to the crew station (F7) and reasign your deck crew manualy....

    No I cannot reassign because there has to be crew on deck, and it can't be empty. If I tell the to rest or drag them away, it replaces them with fresh crew!

    If you are on periscope depth just hit "P" again and they are all aboard. If you are deeper you just have to klick the depth gauge on your current depth again.

    Or you try to man the gun. Hitting the waterline from this position should be a bit easier.

    It seems to me that the game "forgets" that you are underwater after you save. To fix it, i hit the a key (maintain current depth) and the crew goes back to underwater stations. Another thing, tho not exactly a bug, is that after i load all of the lights and instuments break/flicker etc. <not a problem just anoying. One other thing is that a torpedo hit on an enemies screw seems to always bounce off. I only had it work once, and it had hit their rudder.
