I have PS3 and have played the entire game. I downloaded The Da Vinci Disappearance and everything was fine until I tried to find it and play it. I can not find it anywhere. The only message I got was that downloadable content was being initialized. I have contacted ubisoft support and am hopeful they will provide a solution. Til then I am upset and frustrated!

Support should reply at first with a set of things to try - reply to that email stating it did not solve the issue [assuming it did not] and they should get in touch again.
The deletion of the title update, normally fixes the issue though on Xbox360, so you may have a different issue or using a PS3?
In which case a user found these steps worked - however as with any community advice - only do the following if your confident and know what your doing.

Re-install the game - it should prompt an update to 2.03 = Accept & install.

Now go to PS Store & Re-download & install Animus 1.0 .
Then go back to Store & Re-download & install Animus 2.0 .
Then at the store Re-download/install COPERNICUS DLC.

Finally Re-download & install The DAVINCI DLC.
Now start Multiplayer & activate Animus 3.0 in the options.
Once activated - Quit multiplayer & load your Story mode.
Everything should be on the map.
COPERNICUS symbol =(STAR symbol)
DAVINCI MISSIONS / Restored memories = (angel wings symbol)
I had similar problems with DLC & That's exactly what fixed it for me.
Now 100% Sync.
DO NOT delete Save data.
Just so other people are not confused - if you have downloaded the DLC and do not get the 'Title update needs to be installed' - after going to the title screen - and it says 'installing new downloaded content' [or words to that effect] please double check that the DLC is not working correctly before contacting support.
The single player content - will only show up on the map after a certain point in the game, after memory sequence 3.
If you have reached the stage of the game where you can access this, when you continue the game, you should also see an onscreen prompt stating about 'recovered memories' - proceed to the new way point, and the story will start.
The multiplayer part of the DLC should be available from the start though, so you could check there as well to see if you have the new personas.

There is no such thing as Animus 1.0,2.0,3.0 & COPERNICUS DLC in PS store and neither do i can find in multiplayer mode the options to activate animus.......what if i just delete me all game data including updates & DLC from the game data utility and then reinstall the game to the latest version and then after updating the game then Re-download & install The DAVINCI DLC will it work
Ah ha! Ok when I originally went to the recovered memory waypoint, nothing happened. But this time it worked! Thanks so much!

Hi, new poster. But I just had to chime in. I wish you gave intructions for the methodology you opted for delivery. I've been trying to figure out all weekend how to play this, and I'm still looking. It's all abit pretentious for my taste, why not just make it like Capcom did, successfully, with Dead Rising 2 DLC where it was a stand alone while still beign connected to your original game. I'm sorry but this is a mess, and I don't feel like spending time with support tickets to fix it. Safe to say I will be avoiding the DLC until you do it properly, but I'll still buy the games cause they're fun.
The downloadable content is being initialized appeared after I had downloaded the DLC and clicked out of the store. First the blinking exclamation mark and then the message. But again, now it works fine.
For PS3 owners - can I just ask if you are using the DLC from a different region to the game?
For example:
UK Codex Edition
US PSN store DLC
Since some content is region locked on the PSN store - I am not currently sure if the Da Vinci DLC is, but it may well be, please make sure if you report the issue to support - that you also include that infomation.

No Da Vinci DLC is not locked but the others such as Animus 1.0,2.0,3.0 & COPERNICUS DLC these are not available in the PS store i think they are locked as i am living in Middle East-Kuwait and neither there are any options in multiplayer mode to activate animus 1.0,2.0 or 3.0
come off it now there's a region lock on this dlc , i have a ps3 ,i am from Australia..if this is the problem why didn't the people at ubi check all this out b4 they released the da vinci dlc.. just not good enough we had to pay $15 aust for the download here that doesn't work..either refund everyone or send us the upgrade on disc at ubi's cost...
I downloaded the dlc, but while it installs comes that error 80029564 has occured, contact support. I hav tried 3 times.
