I make a thread dedicated entirely to the Assault Mod found in the original FarCry game..

I hate to think that this will not be put into the new FC2, it scares me infact! If it was not there, then the MP of FC2 will be dead to me - you guys hit a stone cold winner with the Assault Game Mode in MP... It is what kept everyone loving FC even tho UBI let the community down in many ways! without that Mod FC would of been dead along time ago i think..

Please can someone official give us some opinions on this, and any indication as to whether or not it will be put in FC2 ?

Everyone that loves assault, and would be hugely dissapointed if FC2 didnt have it - let your feelings be known here!

I personally have faith in the ubi team..
Knowing they would not give the rights to ASSAULT to EA and C****s must mean that they still plan to use it

So personally I will not even vote, because I am that sure it will be in fc2

Yes. If they want to make this game interesting to clans they better put assault in. They should think of an option to form squads,like in BF2.

of course we need assault in fc2 only deathmatch thats very boring

Well the good thing is.. for the most part the code is already written.. unless there is drastic changes being made in the coding of FC2 for how it handles lua scripting from fc1 or other stuff that is above my head it would probably be a very easy mod to make (if the game type is awol on release day)... hint hint xt team and oe and whoever else out there with mods on their brain...

Omg FC2 without assault is unimaginable. I hope that the UBI team realise that its the assault multiplayer that keep Far Cry going and assault multiplayer is what keeps all games going without it, it just aint the same.
