I am PC gamer for all of the above reasons, but messed up the poll and didn't include that choice until after I voted.
Where Life had no meaning, death sometimes, had it's price. That is why the Bounty Hunters appeared.
I'm a PC gamer because it's easier to spell :-D.
Just kidding. PC for tactical console for sports.
Great poll WK.
Already voted on the GR2 forum, but... due to PC games' complexities.
My favorite genre is definitely FPS, and the more tactical, the better. And tactical/realistic games are generally more complex on the PC. Well, there was a time when these games were made primarily (if not exclusively) for PC, and were not limited to the amount of realism/complexity of their console counterparts (when a console version was made, that is).
I have a console, which I use to play other genres. I will play any game, console or PC, as long as it's a good game - but turning a tactical shooter into an arcade game and alienating its original concept fans is another story.
Most of us understand that console games generate more profit for a million reasons, but I see it as extremely unfair that they "dumb down" a tactical shooter franchise just to get a broader audience. In other words, these games are now limited to whatever the developers decide to do with them, to fit them in a console.
Erm... sorry, I kinda went off-topic.
