I am in the tram station on the 3rd pillar having entered from the top of the tram and I move the two levers, but I can't turn on the power at the power 'wheel'. Do I have to turn off power on the 1st pillar to get the power on?

No, no patch. Like I said this control is a little bit more sensitive than the one in the red room (at least I found it so). Try reversing the order that you adjust the levers. Dave
