Stuck *Spoiler* Gate between Lecture Hall and North Quarters | Forums

I am not sure if helps exists, but if it does please help!

I got the black orb and descended the elevator into the Lecuture Hall. Oddly the Lecture Hall was empty! After I crossed the lecture hall, I climbed up the stairs into the passage with the sign North Quarters: Ar. Room, Pit, etc.,. The game loaded the new area. After the new area was loaded, I continued a few steps where I hit a Gate. I couldn't open the gate so I retreated back the way I came.

After the lecure hall area reloaded, it was suddenly populated with all the baddies. I cleared them all out.

I still can't find any mechanism or way to open the gate that leads to the north quarters. I suspect there is a bug because the lecture hall wasn't initially populated.

I had the same problem, what you need to do is go back to the area where you found the orb, and go to the library (I think). Keep looking around and you will find another entire section of the level that you have missed.
