Thread: U Boat mods for TMO... | Forums

So gave RFB a try and found I prefer TMO.

Anyway, wondering if Operation Monsun works with TMO 1.6.3? Is there a German voice mod for TMO?

If these do work with TMO, do I have to disable RSRDC first or it all works together? Thanks for in advance.Thinking would like to give u boats a real try with the mods.

Operation Monsoon is a stand alone mod which needs to be installed over a stock version (v1.5) of SHIV. TMO and OM are not compatible.

Upon doing some further investigation I've found out that I'm incorrect in my above statement. OM is compatible with TMO. Below you see the recommended installation order.

Install with JSGME in the following order for TMO:

    TMO 162
    TMO Patch to 163
    OM V600
    OM v600 Patch 2

Install with JSGME in the following order for TMO + RSRDC

    TMO 162
    TMO Patch to 163
    RSRDC_TMOv163_v410
    OM V600
    OM v600 Patch 2

Most uobat mods should be compatible with TMO. For the most part i didn't touch it except to:

a.) Make sure it worked and that i didn't break it while modding for the pacific.

b.) Fix some minor issues with keyboard access and some minor interior work so you could at least "get around" the uboat better then stock.

c.) Update allied planes visual sensors and air traffic frequency.

The rest is untouched. I didn't see much point in it since i had so many other things to work on, and Operation Monsun being available to the end user, me working on it would be tantamount to reinventing the wheel.

For me, burnout is always one step away.
