Thread: E-sport support? | Forums

  1. #1
Hello! I've been checking out BIA for quite some time now and I've always wondered a few things.. The roundup topic of my questions would be E-sports.

    1. How will you try to support the competitive community? Will there be standard patch-releasing or will you go further to make BIA a game played at big competitions (i.e WCG/CPL/ESWC). Take a look at Painkiller for instance, their sales boosted when the CPL announced that Painkiller would be the world tour game. Before that statement there was practically no players playing it. Now theres loads of them.

    2. BIA-tv? Are there any plans for thing like this? If not; why? If yes; on release or later?

    3. Are there going to be a demo-function - will a player be able to record his latest game session and play it up later in BIA?

    4. Settings, I know its quite early to ask... Will you make the console more open than for instance BF1942? Will it be Quake/cod-style console or do you have something else planned?

So basically Im wondering if you want your game to be played competively and if so, how are you going to make that happen.

Thanks for your time and keep up the good work!
