For me its:
Overpowered: Sylvan... easily.
Underpowered: Tough one, Necro/Inferno are quite lacking.
What do you think?
I think you dont know much about necro. Its easily in the top 3 if not the top overpowered race. All you need to do is take the Reanimator hero and you can hardly be stopped.
Im not counting heroes, just troops. I mean look at wraiths/bone dragons: tell me why I want them again?
I you have another non necro-town or some not necro creatures join you, you can transform them into necro creatures.
That makes the necro very powerful,
Add the 2 gazillion necro archers with battle frenzy and houndreds of Spectres from hunt mine
and you get a very strong town.
haven town is to overpowered ...
u can make easily about 300 of those horseman ...
This game isnt about troops..
Its about heroes + troops + towns.
Necro is by far lacking. For early - mid game they are mediocre but end game they are almost owepowered. As goznik said, necromancy and haunted mines are two skills that make necros very powerfull.
Renul I dont see any ironi in your post however I think that you must be ironic. I mean getting 900000 gold isnt -that- easy
I dont know where to place Inferno but they are ok thanks to Deleb who can easely support the high cost of the town running around killing pretty much any neutral. Alastors special ability is to be reckond with aswell.
I just never see why people say necro is weak, makes no sense. As for wraiths specifically, somewhere on one of the sites there's a breakdown of the level 6 troops and wraith actually compares very well with all of them other than the admittedly excellent paladin. Throw in a thousand or two archers and raise dead and necro has got to be considered one of the top 2 factions, depending on if the Haven has enough money to train all their troops up.
I do agree about inferno though; I enjoy inferno but I just don't do well with them at all if I don't have Deleb at the start; one hero should not make or break the viability of a faction. The only other I've done OK with is Grok i think, the one with the teleport spell at start. Otherwise on anything other than normal setting it just costs me too many troops to conquer mines.
I don't know. But from my expieriences, Dungeon is overpowered. Their Tier 2 Blood chick do some much friggin damage for only Tier 2. And they only had like 60ish of them. For any other faction, you would need like 100+ troops to do the kind of damage that they do. And than there is their Tier 6 ones. I know tier 6 is supposed to be strong, but I absolutly fear thier tier 6, more than their dragons!
Yes, but their base growth is FIVE. The pretty useful Archers have a base growth of TWELVE, Blade Dancers NINE (not to mention Gargoyles 14 and Demons and Zombies 15). So, yes, they are incredibly powerful, but every loss is irreplacable.
according to all these posts here, all races are overpowered... pretty funny actually. you just have to know how to play with them...
