    That article reminds me of Jane Goodall's consternation when she discovered her beloved chimps fought total wars to annihilation, committed genocide, indulged in cannibalism and infanticide, and had voted for Ronald Reagan in two elections.

    Yes, her consternation in the NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC article was painful to read.

    Years later the group she had been studying volunteered en masse to fight in Iraq. After that she committed seppuku.
