Thread: I loved every minute of this | Forums

I completely understand that PC players are having all sorts of technical issues and what not. Got it. I seem to be one of the lucky few who have experienced zero issues with this on the PC. All technical issues aside.

This game is bloody awesome. Thank you Ubisoft for taking a chance and creating something absolutely fantastic. I really hope that ultimately this was a financial success for you because I would love to see other developers experimenting and trying new things.

Loved every minute of it. Still jumping on the last level to play around.

I read the wikipedia article that stated a further development of water and weather simulation for potential future DLC. I can assure you that I am completely sold on this and will most certainly be purchasing improvements such as this.

Please keep pushing the boundaries and thinking outside the box! Love it!

For those who's experience has been spoiled by technical issues, I feel for you and I will admit that Ubisoft does tend to treat the PC as a secondary platform that isn't really worth considering seriously. Ultimately that is their choice, but it seems a little silly considering it is just as legitimate a market place as any other. They do seem to be taking notice with the announcement of DRM removal.

I will say Ubisoft, the idea that savegames aren't stored locally seems a little crazy to me and I am glad to hear you have changed your mind.

Other than the usual ubimadness, WONDERFUL GAME! MORE OF THIS PLEASE!

I'm sorry, But its silly people like you that spur Ubisoft on. You are asking for the stuff that should really already be in the game and then you are offering to BUY it? God no Ubisoft, You release "patches" down the track that implements features that really should have been ingame already and you'll have an even bigger crowd lining up to punch you in the face

While the game runs fine on my computer:
    AMD Quad 965 BE ~3.2GHz
    8GB System RAM
    Nvidia GTX-460
    Windows 7 64bit

I'm sad to say that I thought the game would be so much more than what it is. I really enjoy the God games that I've played over the years, but with Dust, it just feels shallow and empty, it feels more like a game one might play in their internet browser.

While we interact with the terrain, it feels like there is not enough to actually do, and that every map just has us doing the same thing only with a different piece of what is on the map.

While I still don't condone DLC, and am amazed at how many PC gamers took to it like fish in water (it used to be a console only thing), and we used to get full blown expansions with some really nice content and not nickle and dimed to death with DLC, so unless Dust is really going to offer me something great in way of DLC or expansion, I'm really not that keen on the idea of paying for rain.
