i have just purchased this game installed it and then installed the patch but every time i log in it launches and the i get a message saying server noy available try again later, is anyone else having the same problem or am i done something wrong?
Got 1 login, after that the same problem, server not available, servers to busy or something I missed ?
Yep I am getting the same thing ... first step of the campaign and I get thrown out.

Yep - I had been looking forward to this one as well. I just tried skirmish and same thing. My network connection is good and I can log in ok but start a skirmish games or the campaign and get bombed out right away.
Not good - what gives Ubisoft ???
Unfortunately, if the servers go down (apparently this is what happened), you can't play the game.
Is the server down still an issue for anyone? I can't even seem to play the game today unlike yesterday when it worked fine.
I've been playing for the past three hours and haven't had any server difficulties. Where are you guys at? The US or the UK? That may be the issue, sense the UK version of the game isn't supposed to come out until tomorrow.

So what I dont understand if the servers are down how come I can login and syncs saved games.
I spoke with the store I bought the game about returning it and they said I could return it if the media was faulty ( well the game certainly is ) and then it would for another copy of the game. So theres a waste of $50.
