FOUND SOLUTION TO BLACK SCREEN ERROR!!! :) | Forums

YOU MUST DO ALL THIS FROM AN Administrator Account of your windows.
Right click on properties THEN go to compatibility tab then CHANGE SETTINGS FOR ALL USERS (very imp that you do for all users) for the following files
1. ACRMP.exe
2. ACRSP.exe
3. AssassinsCreedRevelations.exe
4. PnkBstrB.exe

all the above files will be in the installed folder

THEN RUN ACRMP.exe
The logo for multiplayer will come
it will quit and then slip you into Singleplayer mode!!!

DO NOT SET ANY COMPATIBILITY MODE LIKE WIN 98 OR XP ETC FOR ANY OF THE FILES

well tried everything u just said....im positive it does not solve the issue on my pc

it just worked once for me as soon as i quit the game the same problem came back

played for 2 hours with no problems but as soon as i quit and started the game again same problem!

so it was just a temp. fix.. srry guys

i'm started to think it's a windows 7 problem. otherwise the game wouldn't be working perfectly for 2 hours for me before i quit.
any one with XP or Vista having same problem???

External HDD installations do black screen wonders with this game as well aviiandevil, just sayin...

but ive installed it in local hard drive
ps. my DVD drive wasnt working so i copied my Disc onto ext. HD and copied from there to local drive then ran the installation from one local drive to another

could that be a problem?
