Thread: The Cultist - The Ship - game stalls | Forums

  1. #1
My game basically stalls when this scenario starts. The graphics become choppy and the mouse is almost impossible to control. Never had this problem before, and even now, I can go back to the previous scenario and have no performance problems. I think it might have to do with the graphic-intensive forests, but I turned the display settings all the way down, with no effect. Any ideas?

I don't have the game, but i can check your PC for expected problems. Could you post your dxdiag please.

I had the same problem with this mission. In certain spots on the map I had to zoom very near to ground because of the choppiness. I tried also turn down the display settings, but there was no significant boost to the performance.

My system is q6600, 8800gtx, 2mb ram, vista premium and it runs quite smoothly games like crysis, bioshock and supreme commander, so I don't think the problem is dx-based or driver based.

I'm having exactly the same issue. Does anyone have a solution to this? It's been playing just fine until now. In the battle scenes it's just fine as well. But whenever I'm in the forest it gets horribly choppy and slow.

Most likely you are having problems with your video card or drivers for your video card. What you can do is post your dxdiag information on here and we can take a look. You can access this by opening up run in the start menu and typing dxdiag.

What does it say in my post? Right: the instructions for posting a dxdiag report. No-one in this thread did. There's no point in asking it a second time to people who don't seem to be able to read.
