Thread: can i mod sh4 when i dloaded from Steam | Forums

    Yeah i dloaded from steam but i cant find a hard copy of the game on my hardrive anywhere, anyone got experience of modding steam dloaded games.

    Im trying to add the Fall of the rising sun mod

    What do you mean by "hard copy"..?? If you downloaded AND extracted the zip file, it should be in the default folder, or the one you indicated for it to unzip to....

    Is the game running..?

    What you need is a utility called the JSGME. You can find it here. It can install the mod for you.

    From what I have gleaned from the Steam website, I don't think they allow modding.

    The site isn't real specific about their service. In fact, they don't tell you much of anything, so I could be wrong.

    programs>steam>steamapps>common is where you will find the game files.

    But, good luck getting it to run online with anyone that doesn't have a steam copy I have not been able to connect to anyone that doesn't have a steam copy of the game and not get disconnected.
