AC freezing problem on xbox 360 | Forums

I have been reading about this problem but shouldn't someone had this sticked? Anyway sometimes while in battle it will do a 2 sec freeze other times it will do a 2 sec freeze walking or jumping on buildings. After those 2 sec freeze the game will stop then I have to turn the xbox 360 off.

The AC cd isn't scratch and it's like brand new so I don't know what the problem is. Some people on AC community said about the bad coding. So what should I do? Bring it back that it's a faulty game.

My brother plays halo 3 for xbox 360 and it doesn't freeze or have problems so thats no problem with the xbox 360.

I've played this game 4 hours straight and I didn't experience any freezing. The only issue I have with this game is the screen tearing.

BTW, is screen tearing a problem with the game console or the game itself???

no the game doesn't have screen tearing while I play AC but I rather have that then stops for 2 sec stops sometimes then stops the whole game with the xbox 360 stops including.

well AC broke my xbox 360, i was getting a veiwpoint near the end of the game and it froze and my xbox didnt work since, got a new one now and when i try to get a viewpoint it just says its unreadable when its bran new, no scratches ....

it has to do with the game, not the console. there is a function called V-Sync, which when activated prevents this from happening, but it comes at the cost of slowdown in the game, so some developers don't include it. you'll notice other games that dont have this problem at all.

@Wraith: i have never heard of a disc breaking a console, unless the disc actually broke inside it and damageds some parts, im not sure how that would happen.

@Elfrick: you can try posting it in the stickied Xbox 360 Update thread HERE and see if it gets noticed....

The first two hours of play AC crashed on me 7 TIMES. I have never been able to play the game for 30 minutes straight. Brand new Xbox360, brand new disk. Great game, very bad coding

It's very dissapointing that a lot of people are not able to play the game because all the technical problems, nobody seems to know why it affects some xbox and others are fine. There's no sticky on this and no one from the support team has said anything. Problems don't go away by themself, once a week someone starts a thread just like this one. Does anyone care?

Seems like a pretty big deal that people like me are not able to make progress without repeating everything 3 or 4 time, this game is hardly playable, I got 4 hours into it and I have never been able to play 30 minutes straight. Nice...

The thing is, there are differences in the components used in the Xbox, and on other threads on the forums, it seems that some models of drive don't work as well as others and give more errors, the same happens with games on the PC, some models of drive don't even work with the copy protection in some games.
Maybe it's just the hardware in your Xbox, as others seem to have no problems

Well there is a sticky about the freezing for the ps3 but not for the xbox 360. I wondered if anyone tryed to contact ubisoft cause I have to bring ac back. If not and when the ac freeze the game and the xbox 360 im affraid the xbox 360 would break.
