Since beta I think I've experienced your problem once. Maybe. I say maybe because I have a router that is old and hiccups often - especially with my laptop so I'm not totally convinced it was on their end but on mine.

I keep reading about people having this problem but have yet to experience it.

Rather than continued hyperbole and abusive language, maybe if you actually went to the tech support page and described with detail what you're experiencing, they might have a solution sooner.

This isn't a universal problem. It's not happening to everyone.

This sort of "blame the victim" mentality is frankly disgusting. People are being victimized by Ubisoft's onerous DRM, and leaping to the conclusion that it might somehow be the victim's fault is revolting. Even if it were actually the "fault" of choppy connections on the part of the people whose games were being booted, that would still be unacceptable. And it would still be Ubisoft's fault, because their software is supposed to run on the hardware people actually have, whatever it might be.

Now as it happens, this has been confirmed and repeated with people whose internet connections are both strong and stable, meaning that any connectivity issues are definitely on Ubisoft's end. This is of course more unacceptable.

And yes, people in different parts of the world experience this problem to different degrees, and people who try to play the game at different times of day experience this problem to different degrees. Indicating that a good deal of the problem is simply that Ubisoft doesn't have really great global server coverage. If true, that is probably the least acceptable of all - because it indicates that Ubisoft instituted this disgusting DRM system without actually having the infrastructure to make it work for all of their customers - and they almost certainly knew that in advance and proceeded with their draconian plan anyway.

Ubisoft's DRM is unacceptable. I do not accept it. And they are being boycotted on all future products by me until they take it out.

no its not my router.i have a 16 g internet, and its always rocking.the drm is used to check game before loading actual game, sort of like cd check but its always connected.alot of times the game wont go passed that.its not me,its the protection, such as starforce many many years ago that corrupted your pc and ate cd drives for a snack.getting booted in game or not being able to load actual game to play a single player game is totally screwed up.drm needs to go bigtime.

first time i ever bought a digital download.never again.im not a child,im 50 yrs old and to the devs and publisher...this is why your games dont make as much money as they did in 2004 .this has nothing to do with pirates. you people dont care anymore.push to release a sub par game because of the damaging protection that cripples the game for the player...id say this drm sucks..and dont worry if you dont remove the drm, the pirates will crack it and the game will run fine whichever comes first...lol...ive grown tired of your smoke and mirrors ubisoft, when it comes to protection, they all suck, except for xbox live windows, that works fine
