    This is a bit off topic but not so much seeing how most of you will list PoP as one of your favorites.

    Here's mine
    -Prince of Persia
    -Games created by Fumito Ueda and his team(Ico, Shadow of the Colossus)
    -Legend of Zelda
    -Metroid
    -Super Mario
    -Oddworld
    -Resident Evil
    -Tomb Raider

    i believe those are specific titles... not franchises. franchises are the entire series of games. anyway...

    Prince of Persia
    Mortal Kombat
    Grand Theft Auto

    X-Men Legends (if this week's release is as good as last year's)

    Right I consider a franchise to have 3 or more games in it. Thus unabling me to include games like Half Life or Halo... or even the new PoP series!

    Resi
    DMC
    Onimusha
    MGS
    GTA
    Splinter Cell
    M&M

    Theres more series with only 2 games in them but I don't think they qualify.

    Monkey Island series (outstanding)
    The Longest Journey (it`s sequel is coming next year !)
    Prince of Persia
    Grand Theft Auto
    Star Wars games (some of them)
    Age of Empires (this fall`s game looks darn good)
