I'll tell you what's wrong:

PC games generally have bugs come up. Someitmes to fix bugs you need to reinstall games. Many times I like to reinstall games or bring a game to another friend's house.

But 8 cds??

That's like 45 min installation (Enter the Matrix - 4GB game)


So this game (if 8cds) will be
8*700 = 5 and a half GIGS??!!


What if I lose a cd! Or scratch one by accident! So many so easy to lose.

I'd agree with DVD if it would be compatible for everyone.

I hope DVR will come into play.

I donâ´t believe they will put the game on 8CDs.
Thatâ´s just crazy, 4CDâ´s would be already too much, but many publishers put their games on that many cds. Thatâ´s a foolish decision -_-

I agree...im mean there isnt a whole lot of difference in the prices of making a CD to a DVD. DVD all the way.

doom 3 is only 3 cd's

Far Cry was 6.

And doom 3 looks better than Far Cry. I think 4 cd is realistic

What? Far Cry havent been published on CD-ROMs. Do you mean that it would have to be on 6 CDs if the installed game was to be burned down on CD-ROM?
