    As soon as I can get my hands on a SL that takes input I'll get to work.

    I'll release a 1.1 version of my extender and then start working on a GUI that replaces the lost GUI components from the SL (properties grid, player list, chat window, etc). I've found out how to read the maps, so I should even be able to provide a GUI to generate map lists like the original SL.

    That would be great

    A GUI would be nice to use for setting up the server...

    Question: When i tried to use your program, I had a NET.Framework issue. I have not seen any other comments on this... have you heard or know the problem ??? Vista 64

    Keep up the GREAT Work

    I have Vista 64 on a second box (Vista Home Premium) and it runs the dedis fine. I dont know what version of .NET Framework I have though; its possible that its an older version. I will have to look into it.

    That would be radical, MChat, if you could return all these features via an extender.

    Then we'd have the benefit of a server that runs a lot better than the previous one, but also has tons of great features.

    Thanks.

    Make sure you have .Net 3.5 installed, you would likely see some errors if you only have .Net 2.0 (errors would likely occur on startup). The other error you might get is if the path to the FarCry2ServerLauncher.exe is incorrect (you'd get the error when clicking the "Launch" button). Of course with the new FarCry2ServerLauncher.exe you may get other errors because the new launcher isn't a .Net app... in fact it isn't even a winform app from the looks of it.

    Found the logging

    command line
    -logFile fullpathandfilename

    I had to use the full path because of Vista
    you might not have to on XP.

    only others I see;
    -help
    -dedicated serverconfigfile
